Internet Explorer 6 Miscellaneous - Display Script Errors

If you are developing a webpage that involves lots of scripts, when you pull up these pages in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, it may complain that errors are on the page, but the browser may not let you know where the errors occur. Remedy this.

1. Open Internet Explorer, choosing "Tools" - "Internet Options".
2. From the multi-tabbed dialog box that follows, click "Advanced".
3. Scroll down to "Browsing".
4. Check "Display a notification about every script error".
5. Press "OK" to close the dialog box.

Be sure to uncheck this box when you go back to normal browsing lest numerous dialog boxes interrupt your normal Internet surfing.

Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Internet Explorer 6 Miscellaneous - Display Script Errors
