Internet Explorer 6 Miscellaneous

Visual C++ Runtime Errors

SUMMARY: Are you frequently seeing Visual C++ Runtime Errors when running Internet Explorer 6? Spyware may be the culprit.

Is Internet Explorer 6 crashing due to Visual C++ Runtime Errors? Unfortunately these are very difficult to diagnose; however, in many situations the culprit is spyware or adware that has infiltrated your machine. Spyware and adware can modify Internet Explorer 6 settings or attach software that decrease the stability of your web browser.

Removing spyware and adware can be difficult and time-consuming, but help is available in the MalekTips removing spyware and adware section.

You may also want to try disabling or uninstalling browser toolbars, such as those for search engines, to see if they are causing problems.
