Internet Explorer 6 Favorites - Just Show the Frequent Favorites

Do you bookmark a lot of sites with Internet Explorer 6? Your Favorites menu probably gets extremely clogged. One way to help organize this menu is to have IE only show the most recently used Favorites. Then, if you need them, you can click a link to show the rest of the Favorites.

1. Open Internet Explorer 6, choosing "Tools" - "Internet Options".
2. From the multi-tabbed dialog box that follows, click "Advanced".
3. Scroll down to "Browsing".
4. Check "Enable Personalized Favorites Menu".
5. Press "OK" to close the dialog box.

Now, when you click on the "Favorites" menu, only folders and Favorites you have used recently are shown. Click the double-down-arrow to show all your favorites.

Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Internet Explorer 6 Favorites - Just Show the Frequent Favorites
