| Change a Favorite's Icon SUMMARY: Change the icon that represents a Favorite website in Internet Explorer.
When you view the list of Internet Explorer 6 favorites via the "Favorites" menu, each Favorite is designated by an icon. Would you like to change the icon for a particular site?
1. Click on the "Favorites" menu.
2. Right-click a Favorite icon you want to change and choose "Properties".
3. When the Properties multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Web Document" tab if it is not already selected.
4. Click "Change Icon". A dialog box will appear with the Favorite's properties.
5. If you like one of the available icons, choose one and click "OK". Or, you can browse your system for more icons including those you can download off the Internet. You can also use the icons embedded in executable files, DLLs, etc.
For a bunch of icons, enter one of these items next to the "Browse" button and press ENTER:
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll
6. When done, click "OK" to close the dialog box.
