From within Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, if you right-click on an image and choose "Save Picture As", you should be able to save a copy of the desired picture on your computer. If the picture is a GIF, you should be able to resave the picture as a GIF. Likewise for a JPG or for other graphics formats.
