Internet Explorer 6 Privacy and Cookies

My Cookies are Being Deleted!

SUMMARY: Legitimate cookies may accidentally get deleted by firewall and anti-spyware software.

If you need to keep cookies for a particular website (to store login information or preferences), make sure Internet Explorer 6 is configured to enable cookies for that particular site.

If you perform this technique and cookies are still not being saved, check your firewall and anti-spyware software if you have any installed. Depending on your firewall or anti-spyware software settings, all cookies may be deleted before being stored on your computer, or they may only be stored until you close the web browser. Techniques for modifying firewall and anti-spyware behavior differ depending on the software packages.
