| Don't Describe What Buttons Do! SUMMARY: Save Internet Explorer 6 screen real estate. If you're a frequent Internet Explorer user, you probably know what functions each button performs. You know the picture of a house goes to the home page, the picture of an "X" inside what looks like a piece of paper stops the currently loading page, the picture of the magnifying glass executes a search, etc. You can save some space by removing the text labels around the icons.
Right-click on the toolbar and choose "Customize". When the "Customize" dialog appears, next to "Text options", click on the pull-down and choose "No text labels". Click "Close" to get rid of the dialog box.
