Uninstall Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP
SUMMARY: Downgrade from Internet Explorer 7 to the previous version of Internet Explorer installed on your system.
If you have difficulties using Internet Explorer 7 on your Windows XP machine, you can downgrade your system to the Internet Explorer 6. To do so:
1. Click "Start" - "Control Panel".
2. Select "Add or Remove Programs" (this may require double-clicking).
3. Make sure "Show Updates" is checked.
4. Scroll down to "Windows Internet Explorer 7" and click the "Remove" button. Follow the on-screen prompts as needed.
