Internet Explorer 7 Toolbar - Menu Bar - Status Bar
Toggle Displaying the Links Toolbar
SUMMARY: Completely disable Internet Explorer 7's Links Toolbar to save space for web pages, or enable a disabled toolbar.
Internet Explorer 7's Links bar, designated by the "Links" text and normally underneath the address bar, provides convenient to frequently-used websites. However, some people may not wish to clutter up their Internet Explorer 7 user interface with this extra toolbar, allowing extra room onscreen to be used by the web pages themselves.
To toggle the Links bar on or off:
1. Right-click an empty area in the tab bar (next to one of your tabs).
2. Check or uncheck "Links" as desired.
Are Internet Explorer 7's Menu Bar and Links options grayed out?
