Microsoft Internet Explorer 7

Change the Text Size

SUMMARY: Make webpages viewed with Internet Explorer 7 easier to read.

Having trouble reading certain webpages in Internet Explorer 7 as the text size is too small? Or do you want to cram more information on a page without having to scroll? Here are two options to change the text size on webpages:

If you have a "Wheel" mouse

Hold down the CTRL key while moving the wheel down to decrease the text size. Hold down the CTRL key while moving the wheel up to increase the text size.

Via menus:

1. Click the "Page" icon.

2. Select "Text Size" and choose a size:

* Largest
* Larger
* Medium
* Smaller
* Smallest

Via the keyboard:

* CTRL 0 to reset the zoom size to the default (100%)

* CTRL + to increase the text size

* CTRL - to decrease the text size

NOTE that Internet Explorer 7 may get confused if you use both methods of changing zoom levels. Thus, if you change the text size with your "wheel" mouse and then try to change the size with the "View" menu, your zoom level may not get changed correctly. Use CTRL+0 to reset the text size to the default if this problem occurs.
