Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 - Remove Page and Tools from the Toolbar

By default, Internet Explorer 7 displays a toolbar containing just pictures. However, two menu items are labeled with text - "Page" and "Tools".

Why are the icons for these two options labeled but not the others? This is done because Internet Explorer defaults to "Selective Text" in the toolbar, selecting to describe only these two icons.

If you wish to clean up Internet Explorer 7's toolbar by removing these icon labels, do the following:

1. Right-click an icon on the Internet Explorer 7 toolbar.

2. Check "Customize Command Bar" - "Show Only Icons".

Bye-bye "Page" and "Tools"!
