This tip was printed from the MalekTips Computer and Technology Help and Tips website at http://malektips.com. Internet Explorer 7 Misc - Disable Friendly Error MessagesSUMMARY: Internet Explorer 7 hides detailed error messages when browsing websites. If necessary or desired, these can be disabled.
When browsing web pages with Internet Explorer 7, you may run across web pages that fail to load due to some sort of error. These include server errors (5xx series) or a page not found error (404). However, instead of showing the web server's error message, Internet Explorer 7 will show a 'friendlier' error message instead. |
