| Home Page / Search Function Changes Unexpectedly SUMMARY: Has your home page or search provider changed in Internet Explorer 7?
After browsing the web with Internet Explorer 7, have you ever noticed your home page or search provider change, yet you know you did not make the alterations yourself? And, when you try to change the settings back, either the options to do so are disabled or your desired changes keep getting reverted?
Unfortunately, this is often due to spyware or other malware such as viruses entering your system, causing changes to your Internet Explorer 7 settings, among other things. You must first clean such pests from your system; then, you should be able to restore your desired settings.
Virus scanners can help remove some malware from your system, but you should also try other anti-spyware applications and removal techniques.
