Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 - Toggle Resetting the Zoom Level to 100%

Although you can change the zoom level of web pages by clicking the magnifying glass on the bottom of Internet Explorer 7, when you open new tabs or windows, Internet Explorer may reset the zoom level back to 100%.

Depending on your needs, you may wish to toggle this automatic re-zooming on or off.

1. Click on the "Tools" button in the toolbar, selecting "Internet Options".

2. When the "Internet Options" dialog box appears, select the "Advanced" tab.

3. Underneath "Accessibility", check or uncheck "Reset Zoom level to 100% for new windows and tabs" as desired.

4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
