SUMMARY: Search for the names and addresses related to phone numbers using Google.
Did you write down a phone number and forget for whom it was for? Receive a phone call and don't know who made it? Various Internet services offer reverse number lookup, where you can type in a phone number and find the originator.
Now Google offers this, too.
Just enter a phone number in Google's search box. For the USA, you can use format xxx-xxx-xxxx, but other formats may be supported. Google may or may not support other country's phone numbers in other formats, so experiment.
If Google finds a match, it will display the person or business's name and address. Plus Google will show links to web sites that can display maps to the person or business.
