SUMMARY: Get information from your local college or university using the Google search engine.
If your local college or university website's search engine is hard to use, you can instead access Google to search the website for information such as maps and directions, class information and schedules, professor biographies, and more.
1. Visit http://www.google.com/options/
universities.html
2. Click on your selected university.
3. Perform a search.
These searches restrict Google to looking through webpages at your university domain, and are limited to results provided by the university. Thus, if your university website uses dynamically created webpages, not all information may be available to Google searches.
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Google Search Engine - Search a University's Website
