| Let Google Suggest Words to Help Your Queries SUMMARY: Google can suggest words that may save you typing when entering search queries.
Are you trying to find some information on the Internet but just can't seem to come up with the appropriate query? Let Google help suggest words or phrases to increase the relevancy of your searches.
As of June 28, 2006, Google Suggest BETA can be found at the following address:
http://google.com/webhp?complete=1
As you start typing, Google Suggest displays a drop-down box with possible searches for you to perform, complete with the list of matching pages in Google.
Examples (subject to change):
Suppose you want to search for airline tickets. As you start typing in "air", the phrase "airline tickets" appears in the drop-down box. Click it to immediately perform the search, saving you typing!
What if you're looking for information on the Hyundai Sonata automobile? Typing in "hy" may display "hyundai" and "hyundai cars" Move the mouse pointer down to "hyundai" and press the End key, then the space bar. Now "hyundai sonata" appears in the drow-down box, ready for you to click to display more information.
Visiting Prague? Type "pr" and "prague" appears in the drop-down box.
Writing a science report on cold fusion and need some background information? Type "cold" and "cold fusion" appears in the drop-down box.
