Change Background Color When Viewing Images in Full Screen or Slideshow

SUMMARY: Change the default background color of black when using IrfanView's full-screen image viewer or slideshow mode.

When you view images in full-screen using IrfanView ("View" - "Full Screen") or use the slideshow feature ("File" - "Slideshow"), the background color behind the image is normally black. If you'd rather the background color be blue, green, brown, or another color, perform the following tweak:

1. From IrfanView, choose "Options" - "Properties".

2. When the "Properties/Settings" dialog box appears, select "Full screen / Slideshow".

3. Next to "Screen color", click the "Choose" button.

4. A standard "Color" dialog box will appear. Choose your desired color from the "Basic Colors", or use the color palette to create your own custom color for the background.

5, Click "OK" to close the "Color" dialog box, then "OK" to close the "Properties / Settings" dialog box.
