Change the Toolbar Skin and Download New Skins

SUMMARY: If you don't like how IrfanView's toolbar buttons appear, change them with downloadable skins.

If you do not like how the toolbar buttons appear in IrfanView, you can select from the couple of toolbar skins included with the software or download more online.

1. From IrfanView, choose "Options" - "Properties".

2. When the "Properties/Settings" dialog box appears, select "Toolbar".

3. Underneath "Select toolbar skin", choose the toolbar you wish to use. Except for "DEFAULT", a preview of the toolbar is shown below.

4. Click "OK" on the dialog box when you have made your selection.

To download new toolbar skins:

1. Visit the IrfanView Toolbar Skins Page.

2. Right-click a skin and save the ZIP file to your hard drive.

3. Right-click the downloaded ZIP file and select "Extract All", then extract the files to the "Toolbars" folder underneath your "IrfanView" folder. This may be C:\Program Files\IrfanView\Toolbars, C:\IrfanView\Toolbars, or another folder on your system.

If you have installed an unzip software package that integrates with Explorer, then ZIP extraction instructions may vary.

4. Go back to IrfanView's settings, select "Toolbar", and choose your new downloaded toolbar.
