SUMMARY: IrfanView can be configured so your right mouse button either scrolls through large images or displays a context menu.
By default, when you click the right mouse button in IrfanView, by holding it down and moving your mouse a hand cursor appears. This allows you to scroll through images too large to fully appear onscreen. However, you might be used to the default action in many other Windows programs when clicking the right mouse button - opening a context menu.
You can configure IrfanView to show a context menu, displaying options allowing you to print, resave, or resize the current photo. The context menu also has options to show or hide screen elements such as the menu and status bars, or to view the photo in full screen mode.
1. From IrfanView, choose "Options" - "Properties".
2. When the "Properties/Settings" dialog box appears, select "Viewing" in the left side.
3. In the right side, check "Use right mouse button for context menu".
