IrfanView - View an Image from the Internet or Hard Drive

SUMMARY: Use IrfanView to display images and photos on your hard drive or on the Internet.

To view an image with the IrfanView image software, whether it is on your hard drive or on the Internet, do the following after installation:

1a. Click the IrfanView icon on your desktop (if applicable), OR:

1b. Click "Start" -> "Programs" (or "All Programs") -> "IrfanView" -> "IrfanView". Note that IrfanView may be labeled by its version number in your "Start" menu.

2. IrfanView will load. Click the "Open" icon on the toolbar (it is all the way to the left).

3. Browse your computer for a graphic file to load and click the "Open" button. OR, next to "File Name", enter an URL for a graphic found on the web.

4. IrfanView will proceed to load the image and resize itself if necessary.

Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to IrfanView - View an Image from the Internet or Hard Drive
