IrfanView 3 - Download PlugIns to Support More Features

SUMMARY: IrfanView can support even more image-related features through the use of plugins.

While IrfanView, "out of the box", supports many features, there may be times where you need to install various plugins to make IrfanView more powerful. For example, there are plugins for IrfanView to:

* Play MP3 music files
* Send files via e-mail
* Apply even more types of filters to images

And much more. To download and install these plugins, just visit http://www.irfanview.com/ and click the "PlugIns" link. Download all of the plugins as "one large EXE", or if you are on a dial-up connection, just download the plugins you want. You may also want to only download selected plugins to save memory by only installing those you need.

* If you download the "one large EXE", just close down IrfanView then run the downloaded software. Follow the on-screen prompts and all plugins will be installed.

* Otherwise, open the ZIP file containing the plugin(s) you want, then copy the needed file(s) to IrfanView's PlugIns directory, normally "C:\Program Files\IrfanView\Plugins". Restart IrfanView if it is already running.
