Screen Capture
LightShot for Windows
SUMMARY: LightShot is a screen capture program for Windows that supports uploading and online editing of images.
LightShot is a Windows application for taking screen captures. The software takes control of the PrtScn key, allowing you to select the region you want captured. If desired once you have selected a region, there is a full-screen button you can choose to capture the entire screen.
As with other screen capture packages, LightShot lets you copy snapshots to the clipboard or save them to disk (LightShot supports PNG, JPEG, and BMP formats).
Other features allow you to upload your captured image to the prntscr.com service, and you can even edit it online via the Pixlr editor. Note that others can view and edit your uploaded image if they know the URL, so be forewarned before uploading any screenshots with private information.
LightShot can be downloaded from the following address. Note that plug-ins for Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer are also available.
