Microsoft Access - Invalid Bookmark When Editing Data

While a coworker was editing data in a Microsoft Access database using the table view sometime ago, he came across a nasty problem. Access kept saying "Invalid Bookmark" when trying to edit a particular record. If this has ever happened to you, or if your Access database has ever gotten corrupted, there is an option in Access that tries to fix broken databases.

From Microsoft Access, click on the "Tools" menu, choosing "Database Utilities," then "Repair Database." Access will then try to repair the current database and it will let you know how the repair operation went.
