Microsoft Access - Quickly Enter Date and Time

You can quickly insert the date and time when entering data into a database's fields. Press and hold the CONTROL key and tap the semicolon (;) to insert the current date. Press and hold the CONTROL and SHIFT keys and tap the semicolon key to make a colon (:) to insert the current time. Note that once you enter a date or time into a field, the information does not automatically change whenever the actual date or time changes.


 


Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Microsoft Access - Quickly Enter Date and Time
