Backup batteries can keep a power-hungry player from going silent. Plus, don't forget to update the software packages that come included with your player. There may be some cool new features you can use!
 
* Use the Windows XP Tweak UI tool to conveniently fix problems on your Windows XP system that once required hacking the registry. Fix icons that display incorrectly, remove phantom drives that may appear and slow down your system, and stop beeping whenever errors occur.
 
* If you download files over the Internet, you probably use WinZip a lot. Find out how to diagnose archive errors, place shortcuts to important zip files on your desktop, or keep WinZip from adding useless items to your right-click context menus in Explorer.
