Welcome to the latest issue of the MalekTips newsletter, providing computer and technology help and tips. We appreciate your subscription!

We have 30 new tips found below in the latest issue of MalekTips.

* Want to take great photos at sporting events? Do some prep work before the game. Practice your technique before shooting pictures at big-league events. Study lineups so you know where to concentrate your photo efforts. And for the best photos, consider upgrading to a digital SLR camera so you can take clear pictures even when the light quality is not-so-good, such as in gymnasiums.

* Tweak your Windows XP Explorer settings. Choose what information to see when choosing the "Details" view. Add folder shortcuts to your Favorites. Have Explorer remember which folders you left open between user sessions. Try out a shortcut to easily access your "Documents and Settings" folder.

* Plus, this newsletter contains information on various file extensions including ZIP, RAR, and TTF; RealPlayer 10.5 advice including how to keep other windows from covering up your video playback; information about Google's Gmail service; and tips for the Yahoo! Search engine including how to display weather reports.

6-11-2005: Photos Too Good to Print

Here's an interesting story I found on The Digital Photography Weblog. If your digital photos look too good, some photo labs, such as Wal-Mart, may refuse to print them, believing they must have come from a digital photographer. It's all a question of copyright.
