MalekTips: 7-2-2004

Welcome to the latest issue of the MalekTips newsletter, providing computer and technology help and tips. We appreciate your subscription!

Here's just some of what you can find by visiting the following web addresses:

* Exciting fireworks photos take a lot of practice, patience, and quick reflexes. Bring a tripod if possible; you'll want to take long exposures of the night sky, and a tripod helps reduce the chances of blurred images due to 'camera shake'. When you snap a photograph, keep the shutter button held down until the camera fully takes its exposure to reduce camera shake. And shoot often; you're not wasting film!

* Get more out of the Windows Media Player tool, especially if you use Windows XP. Listen to Internet radio stations worldwide, configure extra settings with TweakMP, download new visualization animations that show when you play media files, and much more.

* Learn more about configuring Internet Explore 6, including how to modify Favorites using the Explorer, disable the Image Toolbar, toggle the status bar, and recover from a problem caused by some spyware and adware.

These tips and more, 24 in total, can be found below in the latest version of MalekTips - just click the links for the full tips. Enjoy! And remember - if you have a computer question, be sure to check out the MalekTips forums at http://www.malektips.com/forums
