Read just some of what you can find by visiting the following web addresses:

* Increase your privacy with Internet Explorer 6. Remove the list of recently viewed websites that comprise your viewing History. Keep most websites from setting cookies on your machine, yet let certain sites place cookies for login and personalization reasons. Disable AutoComplete settings to help prevent others from seeing your recently visited websites and logging onto sites using your account information.

* Remove troublesome 'features' of Microsoft Word 2003. Why remember only the last four recently used files when you can remember the last 9? Keep text from being labeled with "Smart Tags". Hide menu bars, status bars, toolbars and more when you just want to edit a document. Stop having to hold down the CTRL key whenever you want to follow a hyperlink.

* Get more out of your flatbed scanner. Visit your manufacturer's website for software and driver updates. Deal with dusty and dirty scans. Increase your computer's memory to possibly increase your scanning speed. Remember to use recognizable filenames whenever scanning documents so you can later find them with ease.
