| Update McAfee AntiSpyware Manually SUMMARY: Keep McAfee AntiSpyware up-to-date so it can better handle new malware threats.
As new spyware, adware, keyloggers, and other malware are constantly being created and released on the Internet, it's important to regularly update McAfee AntiSpyware to handle these new threats. Depending on your configuration, updating may occur automatically. If not, you need to periodically check to see if updates are available. To do so:
1. Double-click the McAfee Security Center "M" icon on your Windows System Tray.
2. Click the "Updates" link.
3. Click "Check Now".
