Disable Navigation Sounds

SUMMARY: Tired of hearing sounds when navigating through Windows Media Center 2005 menus?

By default, Windows Media Center plays sounds whenever you navigate menus or select options. If you find this annoying and would like to disable this behavior:

1. Navigate to "Settings".

2. Choose "Visual and Sound Effects".

3. Uncheck "Play sounds when navigating Media Center".

4. Click "Save" to store your settings.
