MSN Search

Show More Results Per Site

SUMMARY: Show more than ten results from MSN Search on a single page.

When searching for sites in MSN Search, if a particular domain or website has more than two sites that match a particular search query, MSN Search will group these results, only showing the first two matches from a particular domain. This way, one website will not completely dominate the search results.

There may be times, however, where you wish to see all the results, or at least more than 2 results, from a particular domain. To make this change, do the following from MSN Search's home page. Note that cookies must be enabled in your web browser for the settings to stick.

(Note that this tip was written May 2, 2005 and the interface is subject to change).

1. Click the "Settings" link.

2. When the "Settings" webpage appears, underneath "Results", either uncheck "Group results from the same site" or keep the box checked and click the "Show the first ___ results" and make your changes, as desired.

3. Click the "Save" button when you are satisfied with your changes.
