Microsoft Word 97 - Don't Proof Certain Text

Automatic proofing is nice, but if you are pasting in some computer code, an HTML document, raw data, or other grammar-unfriendly information, you do not need to see green and red lines underneath the information. To remove these lines, highlight the grammar unfriendly sections of text. Select the "Tools" menu, choosing "Language" and then "Set Language€" On the "Language" dialog box that appears, scroll down to the beginning and select "(no proofing"). Click the "OK" to close the dialog box, and the lines will disappear.

Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Microsoft Word 97 - Don't Proof Certain Text.
