Netscape - Navigator - Clear the Cache

It is recommended to occasionally clear the cache in Netscape (the cache is the area in memory or your hard disk storing recently retrieved file). Else, Netscape will have to clear it for you - causing performance delays.

To delete the cache under Netscape 3.0, choose the "Options" menu. On the multi-tabbed dialog box that appears, choose the "Cache" tab. Now, click "Clear Memory Cache Now," and then click "Clear Disk Cache Now."

To delete the cache under Netscape 4.0, choose the "Edit" menu, then "Preferences." On the window that appears, click on the "Advanced" tab in the left window pane, then select "Cache." On the right window pane, click "Clear Memory Cache." Now, click "Clear Disk Cache."

Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Netscape - Navigator - Clear the Cache
