Microsoft Office 2003

Customize After Upgrading

SUMMARY: Ensure Microsoft Office 2003 installs all its available components.

If you have recently upgraded from an earlier version of Microsoft Office to Microsoft Office 2003, you may want to further customize your Office components. When upgrading, Office 2003 checks to see which Office components are currently installed and upgrades them, possibly leaving out components you may have forgotten to install earlier.

To customize your Microsoft Office 2003 components:

1. Click on the "Start" button, choosing "Control Panel" (or "Settings", then "Control Panel" if you are using Windows XP).
2. Select "Add or Remove Programs".
3. Choose "Microsoft Office Standard/Professional Edition 2003" (you may have to scroll through the list).
4. Click "Change".

From here, you'll be able to add or remove Office 2003 components. Make sure you have the original disk.
