Opera

Hide the Tab Bar, Status Bar, Menu Bar, etc. and View Websites in Full Screen Mode

SUMMARY: Hide Opera 10's tab bar, status bar, menu bar, and other on-screen elements, as well as operating system toolbars by browsing websites in full screen mode.

Especially when viewing websites on a netbook, screen real estate may be at a minimum. If you are browsing a large website such as a web application and want to temporarily hide Opera's menu bar, status bar, tab bar, and other on-screen elements, do one of the following:

A. Click the "View" menu, selecting "Full Screen".

B. Press the F11 key.

While browsing a web site in full-screen, pressing F11 or Esc brings Opera's menu bar and other screen elements back.

This tip was written regarding Opera v10.0 for Windows. Features, information, and screenshots for other versions / operating systems may vary.
