Opera - Make Web Pages Larger to Aid the Visually Impaired

SUMMARY: Having a hard time viewing web pages in Opera? Zoom in to display everything much larger. Tip includes keyboard shortcuts.

If you are visually impaired, you may find it difficult to view smaller text inside web pages. To help, Opera lets you increase the size of the entire page, graphics and all, via its zoom feature. This even works with some pages containing video and Flash animations.

To zoom in or out of a webpage:

1. Select "View", then "Zoom".

2. Select your desired zoom size from 50-200% - the larger the number, the larger the webpage will appear on your screen, and vice-versa. Or, select "+10%" or "-10%" to zoom in or out slightly, or "+100%" or "-100%" for a larger zoom in or out.

If desired, you can use these keyboard shortcuts on your numeric keypad instead:

+ : Zoom in
- : Zoom out
* : Zoom normal (100%)
