Opera 8

Copy Webpage Text Directly to a Note

SUMMARY: Insert webpage text directly into an Opera 8 note without having to manually cut-and-paste.

The Opera 8 web browser comes built-in with a notes utility where you can record information while online. While this feature is quite useful in recording information about selected webpages, what if you need to copy web page text for future reading?

Don't bother retyping text into the Notes feature. Just highlight the selected webpage text with your mouse and choose "Edit" - "Copy to Note". When you access the "Notes" feature you'll see a new note with the selected text.
