Microsoft Outlook 2010
Enlarge or Change the Calendar Date Navigator Font
SUMMARY: Make the Date Navigator easier to read in Outlook 2010, or customize the font.
If you find the small font of the Date Navigator in Microsoft Outlook 2010 difficult to view, or you find it hard to click on the small day numbers, you may wish to enlarge the font.
Especially if you have a larger monitor and resize the Navigation pane, you can increase the font size by a few points. Or, for the sake of customization you may also wish to change the font entirely from its default.
1. Select the "File" tab in the Ribbon.
2. The Microsoft Office Backstage View appears. Click the "Options" button.
(Or instead of steps 1 and 2, press Alt + F, then the letter T.)
3. The "Outlook Options" dialog box appears. Click "Calendar" in the left pane.
(Or instead of steps 1-3, right-click on a Calendar in the Calendar View, NOT in the To-Do Bar, and click "Calendar Options" from the pop-up menu that follows.)
4. Underneath "Display Options" (you may need to scroll down), and below "Date Navigator font", click the "Font" button. A "Font" dialog box opens where you can choose the font name, style, size, and script (if applicable).
5. Click "OK" on the dialog boxes to close them and save your settings.
