Outlook 2003 Misc
Send all E-Mail as Plain Text
SUMMARY: Send e-mail to Internet forums and mailing lists in plain-text with Outlook 2003.
If you are minimalist with your e-mail sending and don't like to use fancy fonts, pictures, or other HTML formatting, you may want to send all of your Outlook 2003 e-mail in plain text. This is highly recommended when sending e-mail to Internet forums or discussion lists, which often frown on HTML or RTF e-mail.
1. From Outlook 2003, click "Tools", selecting "Options".
2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Mail Format" tab.
3. Next to the "Compose in this message format" pull-down, choose "Plain Text".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
