PCAnywhere Version 8.0 - Password Protect Connections SUMMARY: Add a level of security when connecting to computers via PCAnywhere. You can password protect connections to computers. Right-click on a computer whose connection you wish to protect, selecting "Properties." Click the "Protect Item" tab on the multi-tabbed dialog box that appears.
