PestPatrol, a commercial spyware detector / remover from Computer Associates, professes to detect and remove spyware and adware, remote access trojans, keyloggers, denial of service attack agents, vulnerability probing tools, and more.

PestPatrol can scan inside the computer's memory, regular files or archives, the registry, and more. When malware is found, it can either be quarantine or completely removed.

If you need to remove spyware already on your machine or want to prevent spyware from infecting it in the first place, consider this tool. Although PestPatrol costs money, an evaluation version is available for free on their web site. It will detect malware but it will not remove such threats without purchasing the full version.
