Create Your Own "Vintage" Photos
SUMMARY: Make your photos look like they have been around for many decades with a Photoscape effect.
Ever wanted to make your own "vintage" or "antique" photograph that makes a picture look like it was taken a long time ago, complete with sepia or grayscale colors, scratches, and other markings? You can perform several antique photo effects with Photoscape's editor.
1. First make a backup of your original photo, then open the image to edit in Photoscape.
2. Make sure the "Home" tab is selected.
3. Click the "Filter" button, selecting "Antique Photo", then "Antique Photo". Note that you can select from one of the seven effects instead, but this lets you do so interactively.
4. Now in the "Antique Photo" dialog box, select from one of the seven effects - as you do so, the image in the editor will change. You can also select between no color conversion, grayscale, or sepia.
5. Click "OK" to close the "Antique Photo" dialog box when you are done with your selections.
6. If desired, click the "Save" button to save your changes (make sure you have a backup of the original!)
Return to the Photoscape page.
