SUMMARY: If you don't plan on ordering prints, blogging, creating photo collages or movies, or geotagging photos, remove these buttons from Picasa.
Among Picasa's many features include the ability to contact shops to purchase photo prints and other items made from your pictures, blog about photos via Blogger, create photo collages, create movies, and geo-tag your photos via Google Earth.
While many find these features useful, if you don't plan on using one or all of them, buttons can be removed from the bottom of Picasa's window. To do so:
1. Right-click on the button area and choose "Configure Buttons".
2. The "Configure Buttons" dialog box appears. To remove a button, click on it and then the "Remove" button. To bring it back, click on a button in the left column and choose "Add".
You can also move buttons up and down - just select a button underneath "Current Buttons" and then click the "Move Up" or "Move Down" button to change its placement.
