This tip was printed from the MalekTips Computer and Technology Help and Tips website at http://malektips.com. Digital Portrait Photography - Overexpose to Reduce BlemishesSUMMARY: A slight overexposure of your digital portrait photography may reduce visible blemishes.
When shooting digital portraits, one technique you may want to consider is slightly overexposing the photo. This can reduce blemishes and other variations in skin tone on your subject's face. Since slightly overexposing an image reduces some of its detail, the 'detail' of the blemishes might get washed out. Note that this requires a lot of experimentation and image bracketing. You don't want to overexpose to the point of washing out all of a person's facial features. |
