PowerPoint 2003 - Misc - Stop Replacing Fractions with Fraction Characters

SUMMARY: Stop replacing some fractions with fraction characters in PowerPoint 2003 presentations.

If you have created a Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 presentation that included fractions, you may have noticed that some fractions such as 1/2 and 1/4 got automatically converted to special fraction characters. This is done by default as some think these characters look nicer.

However, if you create a presentation with many fractions, you may notice that other fractions do not get converted. This can result in slides with some converted fractions and some non-converted fractions, possibly causing confusion in the audience and slides generally looking displeasing.

This detailed PowerPoint 2003 slide is made even more confusing by some fractions getting converted and others not
