PowerPoint 2003 - Charts and Graphics

Objects Missing in Some Views

SUMMARY: Are objects visible in a slide show but missing in the normal view? Your graphics card or driver may be to blame.

Microsoft Knowledge Base articles 898750 and 907349 refer to a condition that some Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 users may experience. Objects appearing in the slide show view such as photos, movies, or charts may disappear when switching to the normal view.

In some circumstances this may be due to a graphics card or graphics card driver issue.

One suggested fix is to select "Slide Show" - "Set Up Show" and check or uncheck "Use hardware graphics acceleration".

If that doesn't work, you may have to try completely disabling your graphics card's hardware acceleration feature.
