SUMMARY: Add copyright, trademark, and registered trademark symbols to your PowerPoint 2007 presentation.
Some Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 presentations may require use of copyright, trademark, and/or registered trademark symbols. For example, a presentation may be copyrighted by the creator, and the copyright may need to be placed at the bottom of the first frame.
Inserting such symbols is similar to how it is done in other Office applications. Enter the following text and it will automatically be converted to the proper symbol:
(c) - Copyright
(tm) - Trademark
(r) - Registered Trademark
If this fails to work, you may need to turn on text replacement as you type:
1. Click the "Office" button.
2. When the popup appears, click "PowerPoint Options".
3. The "PowerPoint Options" dialog box appears. Select "Proofing" in the left pane.
4. In the right pane, click "AutoCorrect Options".
5. A language-specific AutoCorrect dialog box appears. Click the "AutoCorrect" tab.
6. Check "Replace text as you type".
7. Click "OK" to close the dialog boxes.
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 - Copyright and Trademark Symbols
