Microsoft PowerPoint 2007
Don't Accidentally Show a Menu During a Slide Show
SUMMARY: Prevent accidentally displaying a pop-up menu when showing an important slide show in PowerPoint 2007.
By default, when displaying a slide show in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007, if you click the right mouse button a pop-up menu appears. This lets you jump between slides, change the pointer type, immediately end the slide show, and other options.
While some appreciate this feature, others might access this menu by accident, causing a displayed presentation to appear less professional. Thus you may wish to disable this pop-up menu:
1. Click the "Office" button.
2. When the popup appears, click "PowerPoint Options".
3. The "PowerPoint Options" dialog box appears. Select "Advanced" in the left pane.
4. In the right pane, underneath "Slide Show", uncheck "Show menu on right mouse click".
5. Click "OK" on the dialog box to close it.
