SUMMARY: Remove the black slide at the end of PowerPoint 2007 Slide Shows.
By default, Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 presentations end with a black slide containing the prompt "End of slide show, click to exit".
If desired, you can configure PowerPoint 2007, after the last slide is presented, to immediately exit slide shows and return to the default view without displaying this blank screen. This may be useful when you are editing slide shows; when previewing and re-previewing your work, you will not have to repeatedly click through this last screen.
1. Click the "Office" button.
2. When the popup appears, click "PowerPoint Options".
3. The "PowerPoint Options" dialog box appears. Select "Advanced" in the left pane.
4. Underneath "Slide Show", uncheck "End with black slide".
5. Click "OK" on the dialog box to close it.
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 - Do Not End Slide Shows with a Black Slide
